JCVI Women’s Center for Transformative Health
Women’s healthcare through precision science
Building on Dr. Venter and JCVI’s pioneering work in human genomics, and more than a decade of research combining genomic sequencing with imaging, and phenotype analysis, JCVI’s Women’s Center for Transformative Health seeks to address a critical need in healthcare: advancing comprehensive, personalized care specifically for women. Through our new, dedicated clinical center, we strive to set a bold new standard for women’s health.
Women comprise approximately 51% of the US population with medical needs specific to their gender yet for far too long women’s healthcare has not been a priority. Our mission is to redefine women’s healthcare by developing and deploying innovative imaging technology alongside whole-genome analysis, delivering a uniquely comprehensive, woman-centered assessment on health and disease. This pioneering program is addressing imaging specific to women, such as prenatal, breast, and pelvic imaging, while also providing cardiac studies, nutritional guidance, and hormone therapy support.
JCVI’s Women’s Center for Transformative Health aspires to become a local and national center of excellence and referral, setting a new benchmark in comprehensive women’s health.
