Comment | This minor cas protein is found in CRISPR/cas regions of at least five prokaryotic genomes: Methanosarcina mazei, Sulfurihydrogenibium azorense, Thermotoga maritima, Carboxydothermus hydrogenoformans, and Dictyoglomus thermophilum, the first of which is archaeal while the rest are bacterial. |
