Comment | Members of this family probably act as chromate transporters, and are found in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Alcaligenes eutrophus, Vibrio cholerae, Bacillus subtilis, Ochrobactrum tritici, cyanobacteria and archaea. The protein reduces chromate accumulation and is essential for chromate resistance. |
